B.I.G. advice

Get thee to the beach!

The oil spill has thankfully moved farther from our beach at this point and there is nary a hint of anything but salt on the Gulf breezes this morning.

The water is gorgeous, no tar balls on our beach. While we have no way of knowing how long it will take to stop the oil from gushing into the Gulf of Mexico, we do know that right now our beach is beautiful and clean.

This is the time to visit, see the beauty of the Gulf of Mexico and our sugar white beaches. Let your children and grandchildren see it, touch it, play in it. We can only hope it will still be this beautiful this time next year, but why wait?

Perfectly stated!
I'm counting the days until my day arrives! Once landed, you can believe my toes will be buried in the sand, making the squeaky noise that is only on our beaches..I've never been able to evoke that sound on any other beach in the world!
and camers will be clicking from morning until nite..recording the beautiful PRISTINE sights..
can't wait..but I must.. reservations are for the 25th!
Can you believe we are in for 6-8 inches of SNOW here in Denver beginning with rain tomorrow late?
warmest hugs..

I've been to the beach quite a lot these days. Just looking and enjoying. And yes, I must confess, I brought a pail and scooped up some of that beautiful sand!
