Ah ha! I finally discovered the film crew working under the watchful eye of independent filmmaker, Brett Haley (in the white shirt).
The name of the movie they are filming is "The New Year". You may learn more about the project by reading a recent article in The Independent News.
The weather has not been very cooperative during their stay here, but today turned out to be spectacular for filming on the beach, though rather cold. The color of the water couldn't have been more beautiful for them.
