"It is perhaps a more fortunate destiny to have a taste for collecting shells than to be born a millionaire."
Robert Louis Stevenson - Scottish author (1850 - 1894)

This shell reminds me of the old Chinese fairytale "White Wave" -- the story of a goddess who lives in a shell such as this one & comes out the save the fortune of a poor farmer.
Lovely!
I love shells - they are my passion. I miss the beach so thanks for sharing.
