I recently discovered that some friends of mine who live in Villa Sabine have a Weather Base 20 by West Marine. They do not have a personal weather station website set up which I can link to, but they alerted me to wind speeds on their end of the beach as of 8:30 a.m.
Sustained winds are 25 -28 mph.
Strongest gust was 50 mph at 6:36 am
