A big thanks to my friend, Lila Cox, for giving me several 'pups' from her firecracker plants (Russelia equisetiformis) this spring. They are a great addition to my yard, attracting both butterflies and hummingbirds. I was surprised that one plant in particular is already blooming profusely.
