A view from Panferio Drive shows towering cumulonimbus clouds over the mainland. I'm only steps away from the Harry G. Gowens Memorial Park, looking north over Santa Rosa Sound and the Intracoastal Waterway.

DJ I've just gotten back in town and of course checked out your wonderful blog. Your pictures are wonderful, but the sea turtle hatchings were amazing. Thank you for posting them. How lucky to have been a witness to such a miracle of nature.
My name is D.J. A few years ago I moved to one of the most beautiful places in the world--Pensacola Beach, Florida. I love exploring the beach, documenting its changes with my photos, volunteering to help our sea turtles, attending concerts on the beach in the summer, and participating in many of the events we have throughout the year. I also enjoy sharing my photographs with you so that you can appreciate the beauty of our very special island.
