The Ft. Pickens area of Gulf Islands National Seashore has reopened after thousands of tons of sand dumped onto the road by Tropical Storm Ida and a late season winter storm were cleared enough to allow traffic back into the park.
I took several photos of giant sand dunes created by the front loaders, but the beach was so pretty today that I wanted to share this photo with you first.

Hi DJ...I've missed my visits to Ft. Pickens. So glad the road is open again.
