Hard to Swallow

Sometimes in life we "bite off more than we can chew"...

Or our "eyes are too big for our stomach"...

And sometimes things are just downright "hard to swallow"...

But, "all's well that ends well".

[Kirsten, our Traveling Turtle Girl, identified the bird for me as a Yellow-crowned Night Heron. Click HERE and you'll see why I couldn't figure it out. There is quite a difference between a beautiful adult Night Heron and this juvenile -- and the big lump in its throat didn't help.]

How did you get this little one to stay in one place while you took this great progression of shots? Talk about cooperation!
