To fill in what has been going on:
We were very happy to hear from Pensacola Beach Blogger who discovered our screen for nest PB 7111. He lives just a short way down the beach and the screen had been swept back ashore near his walkover. Luckily he's a beach explorer who stops by our nests to see how they are progressing and knew what it was when he saw it.

And be sure to check out Kirsten's latest post on Traveling Turtle Girl for her account of yesterday evening when she and Mark tried to assess one of the sea turtle nests inside the park on Ft. Pickens Road. Now I know she never sleeps.
