Sea Oats

It's wonderful to see sea oats coming back again. These photos were taken on my morning walk, but they are spectacular in the evening when backlit by a sunset.

I remember years and years ago...30 years ago so many sea oats on Pensacola Beach and big sand dunes. I miss how the beach looked back when were little...there were so many of the little cottages and not any of the highrises and big hotels....those were the days.

Yep, I agree with Sandy. (Hi Sandy). The pictures on my blog (and yours) of the beach area are beautiful but also sad. One of them on my site that shows many buidling used to be nothing but a long stretch of beach with a beatup old bar there. That bar had the BEST hamburgers too. I wish I could remember what the name of that place was.
