Shiver me timbers!

It's cold! When I got up this morning, my thermometer read 30 degrees. Thirty degrees on the island? Yikes!

The wind howled all night, gusting close to 35 mph. Unfortunately I didn't have the heat turned on and I discovered it was 59 degrees downstairs and 62 upstairs. Shiver me timbers!

D.J.,
I wanted to tell you first of all how happy I am that I found your blog. You have no idea the joy it brings me to look at your beautiful pictures and read about life in Paradise. And yes, I agree it is indeed Paradise. The first time my husband and I went there with our boys (at least 20 years ago), we knew we had found the only place we’d ever vacation regularly again. Every time I top the rise and make that curve at the end of I-110 and can see that first glimpse of the Bay, I feel like I’ve come home. And always, no matter the weather, as I cross the 3-mile bridge I roll all windows down and breathe in that sweet smell!! It never fails to wash away all the stress :) You are living my dream girl! Someday, I will live it too, but until then – thank you for allowing me to live it through you – and the lens of your camera!

I also wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas! I hope you have a blessed Holiday Season.
Much love,
Tammy
