Holiday events

We have a lot going on this weekend, so make notes on your calendar:

Saturday, December 6:

Kowabunga Breakfast with a Surfing Santa takes place at Surf Burger from 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Did you know that Surfing Santa has a surfboard sled pulled by magical dolphins! Bring the little ones to see Surfing Santa and be sure they bring their wish list. There will be free mimosas for parents. Click here to see a few photos from last year.

Sunday, December 7:

Sunday will be a very busy day on the beach.

Start your day with the Christmas Cantata at the Pensacola Beach Community Church, located at the corner of Via de Luna and Avenida 18, at 10:00 a.m.

The kids will love the Gingerbread House Make and Take at Tiki Island Golf & Games, located at 2 Via de Luna Drive (in the Casino Beach area) - Noon to 2 pm

Santa and His Paparazzi Photo Session will take place at the Boardwalk 2 - 4 p.m. Click here for a photo of last year's event. A B.I.G. paparazzi will be there to take a magic photo (a polaroid snapshot) of you with Santa for a nominal charge. Proceeds go to the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce.

While you are at the Boardwalk to see Santa and his B.I.G. pararazzi, step into Lee Tracy for their Tis The Season Open House which takes place between 2 and 4 p.m.

Tuesday, December 9:

After a busy day on the beach, you can rest up until the Joy For The Beach - Santa Fever Holiday Concert which takes place Tuesday night, 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church on 920 Via de Luna Drive.

Presented by the Pensacola Beach Optimist Club, this holiday beach tradition will include performances by the Joy for the Beach singers, Dancingly Yours dancers, and the Fourth & Fifth Grade children from Pensacola Beach Elementary School.

Pssst, be sure to bring extra socks, cause a little birdie told me they plan to knock 'em off this year!
