"Next time a sunrise steals your breath or a meadow of flowers leave you speechless, remain that way. Say nothing, and listen as heaven whispers, "Do you like it? I did it just for you."
I always thought it was funny I was "in town" that weekend taking shots of the same sunrise! It was my "birthday weekend". I've spent many of those at Pensacola in the last 30 years. An added treat was the "Taste" and we saw 3 different weddings invarious stages that weekend. Finally put my pictures to a particular piece of music for youtube:

Thanks for keeping me in touch with with PB when I can't be there!
That was great, Highlander! And, by the way, you must have seen me drive past you on my patrol that morning. In one of the photos I can see the buildings, so I know the general area where you were standing to take your pictures. I would have been driving a green Kawasaki 'Mule' and wearing my park cap & shirt.
My name is D.J. A few years ago I moved to one of the most beautiful places in the world--Pensacola Beach, Florida. I love exploring the beach, documenting its changes with my photos, volunteering to help our sea turtles, attending concerts on the beach in the summer, and participating in many of the events we have throughout the year. I also enjoy sharing my photographs with you so that you can appreciate the beauty of our very special island.
