Another oil-soaked hard hat washed up on the beach this morning, reminding me of those families who lost husbands, fathers, and sons in the Deepwater Horizon disaster.

Did you notice any identification on the hard hat? One of the men who died went to my high school & lived close to me. Several others were from neighboring communities. I just don't want it to end up in a hazmat landfill. Thank you for the wonderful updates. I've spent my summers in Orange Beach since SeaChase was built in the 80's. We've been at Caribe since 2003. I've walked past many nests over the years & I appreciate what you do! Thank you! J. Cowart Smithdale, MS
