- My name is D.J. A few years ago I moved to one of the most beautiful places in the world--Pensacola Beach, Florida. I love exploring the beach, documenting its changes with my photos, volunteering to help our sea turtles, attending concerts on the beach in the summer, and participating in many of the events we have throughout the year. I also enjoy sharing my photographs with you so that you can appreciate the beauty of our very special island.

Beautiful! I love how graceful he/she walks on the beach as when I'm walking on the beach I'm to busy trying not to stumble in the water!
On a sidenote, I love your blog! My husband, daughter and I have been vacationing in Pensacola each year for the past 3 years and absolutely love it. Your blog helps make the time between vacations go by faster. keep up the good work!
Your video makes me really miss florida. I moved last year but I remember going to silver springs many times and seeing the blue herons. I hope that with the gulf oil spill that they won't be too effected in the next few years. There such beautiful birds. Thanks for sharing the video.
