This was my Sunday discovery as I patroled Ft. Pickens this morning. The owner probably got caught in surf that was too rough for a boat this size.
At least he managed to get it to shore and throw an anchor onto the beach.
Looks like the Pursuit has ended.

Until you mentioned the anchor I was wondering, wheres the owner? We can assume gone for help.
God Bless America, God Save The Republic.
David, I have a couple of dispatch numbers for law enforcement in my cell phone which I am supposed to call in case any problems arise on patrol or late-night nestsitting.
I called to report this boat and they were already aware of the situation. I believe you are correct - they threw the anchor on shore and went for help. I'm pretty sure they are safe -- except for their wallet after the boat is 'rescued'.
Hope things are going well for you.
DJ
