Seaside Sharon!

I was delighted to meet one of my blog followers at Evenings in Olde Seville Thursday evening. It's still a surprise -- and a very lovely one -- when someone I've never met comes up to introduce themselves!

Sharon's husband, Andrew, stumbled across my blog a few years ago when they lived in St. Augustine, Florida. Sharon already had an interest in photography, but she said my blog inspired her to start photo-blogging herself! When Sharon's husband realized the depth of her passion for photography, he presented her with a nice DSLR camera for her birthday -- just like my husband did for me!

Quite recently Sharon and Andrew moved back to Pensacola where they had lived seven years ago. They told me my blog made them realize how much they missed the area and our beautiful beaches.

I hope you'll take the opportunity to check out Sharon's great blogs. She's much more prolific than me! I will be placing permanent links to them under the Blogs I Follow section on the left-hand side of this page. I think you will truly enjoy the quality of her photos and blogs, plus all the special information she provides in Blog U - Creative Blogging.

Hmmmm...not sure which of Sharon's blogs you're looking at, Jan. The last two I listed listed are more for bloggers (Blog U- Creative Blogging) and cooking (Buttermilk Clouds), that's true. But the first two (Sharondipity and Seaside Sharon) are what I consider photo blogs.

If you mean photos of the area, Sharon has just moved here and we will see more photos of the area and events soon. The four photos in her last Seaside Sharon post (July 15) are all taken in Gulf Breeze, looking across Santa Rosa Sound at Pensacola Beach.

DJ, thanks for the post! So sweet of you.

I'm going to jump in here and say that I think Jan may have been referring to the fact that there were no photos in this post. Usually we get to see some of your wonderful shots. We are spoiled.
