On turtle patrol is it also our responsibility to check on all the nests in our area and make sure everything is okay: no predation from raccoons, fox or ghost crabs; no disturbance from curious folks. This particular nest is more protected than most from high tides and light pollution due to dunes which cuddle 'round it.
