Sunset on Pensacola Beach


Another incredibly beautiful sunset.


Almost identical to the one last night.


It was gorgeous, but chilly. The wind kicked up last night around 8 p.m. with gusts up to 20 mph and continued through the morning. I wish our little hatchlings would emerge, because the water temperature is definitely warmer than the air temp this week!

Great photos. That's a steep slope to the water: do you have winter and summer beach like they do up in New England?

Thanks for the comment, Robert. Unfortunately the slope of the beach was caused by storms. Hurricanes Fay, Gustav and Ivan passed around us, thank goodness, but the resulting storm surge did quite a bit of damage to our beaches.
