Low tide

We had an incredibly low tide this weekend, lower than I've ever seen it before. If it hadn't been so darn cold and blustery, and if I had on waterproof boots instead of tennis shoes, I would have taken the opportunity to explore!

Wasn't it amazing? When we did our walk Saturday, I did take the time to wander out on some of the sand bars. The newly exposed sand was filled with jelly fish and other stray fish--good food for the seagulls. We get really low tides on the Bay in the winter, but, like you, I've never seen anything like this on the Gulf.

To DJ and BaysideLife:
Wow! Wish I had taken one of my day trips Saturday. Did you see any great shells? Did you see any Sand Dollars? One of these days, I am going to book a condo for a month in the fall at Pensacola Beach. It's the same price as a week in the summer. A whole month at Pensacola Beach would be heaven on earth!

Look at the expansive space it has that amazing blank scenery rare in a beach full of waves.

The scenery is so beautiful and I can really say how great is our Lord for in He made such a wonderful creature as that. Anyways, I have always been loving the beach. Like me, my wife also love the beach so much. And every time we go there, she would go shopping in Destin, Florida especially and then we would eat at some restaurants in Destin also because the food there tastes like heaven!
