I saw an adorable little chick this morning which I believe is a Plover. I have seen them frequently the past couple of weeks, but they are difficult to capture with my camera.
This one was a tad less shy, though it headed directly for mama.

Yes, that is a Snowy Plover (white underbelly, pale brown on top, patch behind the eye and a partial neck ring). You see them on the Gulf Coast and they breed in the Panhandle. Another species we'll have to keep our eye on during this time. I saw the adults in Tampa Bay, but never the chicks, sooo cute!
I think this may be the cutest bird Ive ever seen!
