Thank goodness the rain has finally stopped so we can get outside again, although the humidity doesn't help my camera lens! It seems to take forever before the glass unfogs.

Glad to know the name of this bird. In one of my last posts I misnamed it as a sandling. Thanks for the info.

Mr. D., thank you very much for the heads up on the bad link. I've since fixed it. It was a great site that I wanted people to access: Smithsonian National Zoological Park's Migratory Bird Center. A lot of folks may have missed out if you hadn't mentioned it.
