It was a gorgeous day at the beach! Temps were close to eighty degrees, with a light breeze. The water was clear and the green flag was flying.

Hi there again! I was down in Pensacola all last week, enjoying the 80 degree weather w/ the kiddies and I can't wait to move in June! We went to Casino Beach and also the Big Lagoon. This pic here is absolutely gorgeous! Where is this beach located???

Hi, Joy! Congrats on your upcoming move to the area!
The beach in my 'Fabulous Friday' post is at Park East. Drive east on Via de Luna, go past Portofino and continue for another couple of miles. You will come to a large parking area (it also has some restrooms). That's where I took my mother that afternoon so there might be less people.
I can't wait for that portion of the highway to Navarre Beach to open up for us. I think it's one of the most beautiful drives in the United States -- but I admit to being very partial. :-)

Park East.....pass Portofino? Is that after the toll booths or is that the other direction going towards the zoo... I'm sorry I'm not too familiar yet w/ the area :0)

After going through the toll booths, continue on the main road, which becomes Via de Luna, for approximately 6 - 6 1/2 miles and you will come to Park East.
Along the way you will go past several parking nodes that are very nice to stop at and walk across to the beach. Park East is just the last parking area that you can pull into (eastbound) before the road is closed.
You're going to enjoy getting familiar with the area!
