Wildflowers

“Men do change, and change comes like a little wind that ruffles the curtains at dawn, and it comes like the stealthy perfume of wildflowers hidden in the grass."

~~ John Steinbeck (1902 – 1968)

This looks like spiderwart. I brought some back from Arkansas on one of our trips and have nurtured it through northern winters next to my foundation. It is a joy!

Patty, thank you so much! For the life of me I could not remember the name of this flower. I did a post about it a couple of years ago, wondering how such a lovely flower could have such a yucky name. Ha!
