La Pinta and Nina arrive


Replicas of La Pinta, the fastest of Christopher Columbus fleet, and the Nina (said to be Columbus' favorite ship) sailed into Pensacola Bay yesterday.


Tours on the boats will begin at 9:00 a.m. this morning and continue each day through January 3.

    Very cool. We had a replica of the Nina to visit Tuscaloosa a few years ago. I was struck at how SMALL it was!
